Repeat orders, job sheets and packing slips
Reorder in a few clicks using the approved designs, and print job sheets for the workshop and packing slips for the box.
Repeat orders
When a customer wants the same again, start from their earlier order. Click Reorder at the top of the order page. You need the Orders and design permission.
Each product from the old order is listed (cancelled ones are left out).
- Untick any products they don't want this time.
- Change the Quantity, or the quantity for each size.
- Choose whether to reuse each design (see below).
- Set a Due date if you like. Leave it empty to work it out from the products' lead times.
- Enter a Website or purchase order number if there is one.
- Click Create the order.
The new order gets the next job number and "Repeat customer" as where it came from. The old order's timeline notes that it was reordered.
What's copied
- The customer, the delivery method and the delivery address, with the customer's premises if one was chosen.
- Each product with its description, colour, decoration, print positions, instructions and mockup setting.
- Any custom fields on the order and its lines.
Rush, internal notes and the due date aren't copied.
Reusing the approved design
Lines whose design was approved last time have Use the approved design (goes straight into production) ticked. For these lines:
- The artwork files, and the approved mockup if there was one, are copied to the new order.
- The customer isn't asked to approve it again. The line goes straight to Queued for production, and the timeline notes which order the design was approved on.
Untick it if the design is changing. Lines without an approved design to reuse say so, and start at Awaiting artwork. Leave Email the customer for artwork on lines without an approved design ticked to send them the upload link straight away.
Job sheets
A job sheet is a printed A4 page for the workshop, one for each product line. To print them:
- On the order page, click Print > Job sheets (one per product) for every line on the order (apart from cancelled ones).
- On the production board, open Move or assign on a card and click Job sheet for just that line.
Each job sheet shows:
- the job number, customer, website order number, due date and a RUSH marker for rush orders;
- a QR code: scan it with a phone or tablet (you need to be signed in). On Pro and Business it opens the job with a button to move it to its next stage (see Production calendar, capacity and scanning); on Starter it opens that line on the order page;
- the quantity, product, colour, decoration, print positions, department and who it's assigned to, and a table of sizes with the total;
- the line's instructions and the order's internal notes;
- the approved mockup (or the latest one, marked "not approved yet"), or the customer's artwork for lines with no mockup, and the names of the artwork files;
- a sign-off table with the department's stages and "Packed and checked", with space for initials, date and notes.
Click Print or save as PDF at the top of the page.
Packing slips
A packing slip goes in the box with the order. On the order page, click Print > Packing slip. You need the Dispatch permission.
It shows your logo (or business name), address and contact details, the job number, the website order number (as "Your order"), today's date, the delivery address and delivery method. Then it lists every approved, in production, ready or dispatched line with its quantity, colour, decoration and sizes, and a Packed box to tick. There are no prices.
Your Message on customer pages (see Business details and branding) is printed at the bottom, with a note asking the customer to get in touch within 7 days if anything is missing.
Click Print or save as PDF at the top of the page. To record the shipment itself, see Dispatching orders.
