Orders
What each status means
Every product line status, what your customer sees for each, and how an order's status is decided.
Product line statuses
Each product line moves through these statuses. Your customers see friendlier wording on their pages, shown on the right.
| Status | What it means | Your customer sees |
|---|---|---|
| Awaiting artwork | You're waiting for the customer's design. | We need your design |
| Mockup to do | You have the artwork. Next, make the mockup. | Preparing your mockup |
| Awaiting approval | The mockup has been sent. You're waiting for the customer. | Mockup ready for you to check |
| Changes requested | The customer asked for changes. Make a new mockup. | Updating your mockup |
| Queued for production | Approved, waiting to start. | In production |
| In production | On one of your production stages. | In production |
| Ready to dispatch | Finished and ready to go. | Packing |
| Dispatched | Sent, or collected. | Dispatched |
| Cancelled | No longer being made. | Hidden from their order page |
The first four are the design stages; a line can be edited while it's in one of them. From Queued for production onwards the design is locked.
How an order's status is decided
You never set an order's status yourself. It's the least advanced status of its lines, leaving out cancelled ones. For example:
- One line In production and one Awaiting approval: the order shows Awaiting approval.
- Everything dispatched except one line that's Ready to dispatch: the order shows Ready to dispatch.
An order is Dispatched only when every line has gone. If every line is cancelled, the order is Cancelled.
Overdue and rush
- Overdue means the due date has passed and the order is still open. Overdue dates show in magenta, and the Orders list has an Overdue tab.
- Rush is a tick box on the order. Rush jobs go to the top of the production board and are marked Rush on the orders list, the order page, the dashboard and production cards.
